Camp Four Candle Company is a small batch, hand-made candle business based in Banff, Alberta Canada.
Our candles are carefully made using only premium grade products. We use only natural soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance and essential oils. We do not use any additives such as paraffin, UV stabilizers, or color. Our subtle fragrances are inspired by the beauty and grandeur of Banff National Park and the Rocky Mountains.
We are passionate about authenticity, quality products, and fragrances that awaken your subconscious. You will surely have your own personal list of a favourite smell, but we believe our scented candles will elevate your mood and bring back the best memories.

OUR FOUNDER
Kristen McKay grew up in both Banff and Canmore amidst the awe inspiring beauty of the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park.
Camp Four the name is premised on a style of high alpine mountaineering where climbers set up multiple camps during their ascent of a mountain until they reach the summit. This technique is also helpful for acclimatization.
A parallel interpretation relates to the metaphorical camps we might need to establish on our own journey, and the higher elevations of which we choose to achieve.
It’s the small things in life, after all - like a day spent in the mountains.
